Currently we are searching for a Warehouse Supervisor for Johannesburg, South Africa.

Responsibilities of this Post:

1. Oversees and ensures successful weekly cycle count of stock.
2. Investigates stock variances and exceptions and implement an action plan.
3. Ensure monthly stock take with production and support department teams.
4. Controls damaged stock in WIP, investigates causes and takes corrective action.
5. Ensures FIFO / LOS (line of site) principles are applied during storage and issuing of stock within area of responsibility.
6. Ensures that procedures pertaining to stock control are continuously reviewed to improve efficiencies and minimize risk to the company.
7. Ensures product received for storage, is accurately coded, compliant with procedures and stored in designated areas.
8. Ensures integrity of database information is maintained on SAP at all times.
9. Updates checks and charges spreadsheet.

Requirements of this Post:

1. Diploma in Warehousing / Logistics / Supply Chain / Procurement or related fields (NQF 5).
2. Three to five years experience in Warehousing / Inventory and Stock Control / Logistics in Supervisory level.
3. Must be able to solve problems independently.
4. Computer Literacy (MS Office Suite and SAP, ERP Systems and other job-specific software systems).
5. Knowledge of relevant Stores / Warehousing / Logistics and Planning Processes and Practices.
6. Must have operational and business administration skills.
7. Ability to lead and manage a team.
